How to add in Menu Header content block and style it in your print menu

Updated over 8 months ago

Adding a Menu Header

The Menu Header is set in your Menu Settings. It’s a good place to keep your restaurant’s tagline or a quote from the owner or chef, such as: “Bringing the flavors of the shore to your plate.”

To add a menu header to your print menu, you must first have set some header text when you created the menu. In the following example, we add header text to an existing menu and then add that header to the print menu.

First, add header text.

  • Click the Edit button for the menu you want to print.

  • Click on Menu Settings.

  • Add the header text you want.

  • Click Save.

Second, drag and drop that header text onto the print menu.

  • From the menu manager, select Print.

  • Open the Content tab on the left.

  • Drag the Menu Header onto the print menu.

Note - if there is no Header Text in the Menu Settings, the Menu Header element will not appear in the content drag and drop window.

Styling Menu Header

While the Menu Header element is highlighted, you can click on Styles to adjust how the Menu Header is displayed.

For any text based element in the menu printer you can change the below styles:

  • Font

  • Font Weight (how bold it is)

  • Font size

  • Line height (how much space between each line of text)

  • Text alignment (left, center, right)

  • Text style, (italic)

  • Text color
