If you price is not displaying correctly, it is likely due to how it was entered. You can add multiple prices to an item. You can add leading or trailing text to a price. You can also change how to display multiple prices. This article shows you the correct way to add prices and use the multiple price display features.

To add a price, click on the "add price" icon when editing or creating items.

To edit an existing price, simply click on the price field when editing or creating items.

When you add a price or edit a price, a window will pop up that has three fields in it. Leading text, price, and trailing text. The first field, leading text, is for any text you want to enter before the actual numeric price. The second field, item price, is for the numeric price. No text can be entered in this field. The last field, trailing text, is for any text you want displayed after the numeric price below displays the proper way to enter two prices, one with trailing text and one with leading text.

In this example, $12gl, The 12 is entered in the item price field and the gl is displayed in the trailing text field.

In this example, Add Chicken +8, the text "Add Chicken +" is entered in the leading text field and the price of 8 is entered in the item price field.

Note: do not enter a currency symbol for any price. The currency of your prices are managed in settings. In addition, the option of displaying it or not on your menus is also a setting.

There is one other setting within the create or edit menu drawer which allows you to display multiple prices on one line with a slash or on multiple lines.

Selecting "Standard price" will display prices below the first like this:

25

Add Chicken +8

Add Shrimp +12

Selecting "Slash Multi Price" will display prices on the same line with a slash in between the prices like this:

12gl / 48btl
